Dogecoin mining probability

Dogecoin uses Scrypt and targets one-minute blocks. The fixed 10,000 DOGE block reward makes chain-specific reward value easy to compare, but the probability still depends on network hashrate share.

MiningOdds uses the same Poisson block model here as on every other block calculator: P(≥1) = 1 − e−λ, with λ = (your hashrate ÷ network hashrate) × (time window ÷ block time).

Why is the Dogecoin block reward much larger than Bitcoin's?

Dogecoin pays a fixed 10,000 DOGE per block. The number of coins is larger, but the value still depends on DOGE/USD price.

Is Dogecoin block probability the same as Litecoin for the same hashrate?

No. The two chains share the Scrypt ecosystem, but they have separate network hashrates, block times, and block rewards.
